I address to the representatives of the Olympic movement, to the international sports organizations, to the National gymnastics Federations, to the fans, to all honest people.

As a technical committee member, I was emphasizing on the necessity to have professionalism and objectivity in judging. I have been always standing for and will always stand for the judges’ panels to fulfill their duties without looking back at the opinion of the sports officials and without thinking of the possible organizational consequences about their decisions. I would like my appeal to regain belief for those who has lost faith in the triumph of justice and objectivity in sport, who has begun to doubt the possibilities of the athlete and coach to stand on their position in front of the sports officials who have in their hands public power and financial resources.

During the last 6 months I, as Technical committee member, was demanded to refuse my opinion that I have expressed not once. They tried to persuade me to make a public excuse and in case of refusal from this proposition they tried to persuade me to leave the position of the Technical committee member. Ukrainian Gymnastics Federation, having received the claims, proposed to the FIG Governing Body to hold a mutual meeting aiming to settle all the different contradictions. I would also like to note that both me and my gymnasts have been under a big pressure. I have addressed on repeated occasions to the members of the FIG Technical committee with a proposal to make professional discussions related the performances of the gymnasts at the competitions in order to find a mutual opinion among the Technical Committee members. In it’s turn, the Governing Body of the International Federation, despite a total absence of any infringements from my side, substituting the functions of the Congress, makes an illegal decision regarding an elected by the Congress member of the Technical Committee by which it shows it’s neglecting attitude towards the rules and dispositions of the Statues and the principles of Olympic Chart.

0X4R3Y!l I(iHowever, what I have the right for is to call upon to the Governing Body of the International Gymnastics Federation - FIG President and FIG General Secretary – to resign immediately from their positions for the actions, contradicting the Statutes of the Federation and principles of the Olympic Chart. Having undertaken such actions, International Federation tries to demonstrate it’s strength and to make it clear to those who still did not understand it that with any athlete, coach, judge who has it’s own opinion, different from the opinion of the FIG governing body, they can act the same.
